When you click "Start Drilling", a popup appears where you enter your Solana wallet address. Your browser then establishes a WebSocket connection to our mining pool.
Work Distribution
The pool sends you a mining task containing:
- A barrel header template
- The current difficulty target
- A nonce range to search
Mining Loop
Your CPU iterates through nonce values, computing SHA-256 hashes. For each hash:
- If the hash meets the difficulty target, you've found a valid barrel
- The solution is submitted to the pool for verification

Follow these steps to start drilling and earning OIL tokens:

On the homepage, click the orange "Start Drilling" button. This opens the mining configuration popup.
